Hmmmm I'm a little sick today...

But I submit six new Greek mytholgy ladies! I usually talk about them in my tumblr [link] and explain their stories. You probably know some of these! (maybe one or two?)

From left to right they are:
Galatea: a nereid, or sea nymph. A cyclops killed her lover and she created a river with his blood, aww...
Echo: an oread, or mountain nymph, she helped Zeus and thus got punished by Hera (wow, that's new). She could only repeat the last words of the person talking to her... She loved Narcissus but he died cuz he was stupid LOL
Chloris: a nymph of flowers and stuff, she was abducted by Zephyr
Eurydice: an auloniad, country-dance nymph. She was killed by a snake but his husband Orpheus went to the Underworld to rescue her... too bad he was a little stupid too and lost her!
Daphne: a dryad. Apollo was sexually harassing her and thus she asked for help and got turned into a laurel tree.
Galatea (II): is not exactly a nymph but I included her as a bonus. She was an ivory statue whose creator, Pygmalion, fell in love with. He asked Venus to make her a living woman :aww:

Hope you like it! :meow:

Once you read Greek Mythology you begin to realize how truly messed up some of the stories were xD Still it's just too much fun reading it to stop because of a couple of....situations the and the tons of marital issues gods have *coughcough* Zeus *coughcough*

I absolutely adore Greek Mythology, and I just had to tell you that they way you portray the nymphs and goddesses is my favourite way I have ever seen. I've spent so long looking for images of the goddesses which aren't too classical but aren't too cartoon-y either, and yours are just...perfect! Could stare at them all day, literally. I am aware that this sounds totally ridiculous, but I just had to let you know how much I admire your work :')

It's not ridiculous at all, this is very important to me! Many people tell me that they like my stuff or maybe they think that it's funny but not the way you did. And I'm so sorry for answering so late but now I want you to know that I feel really, really grateful right now for your words. It means a lot to me that you like my version of the myths and, even more, that you adore Greek Mythology as I do, because it needs more love. It is a source of fun, inspiration and art. Thank you, thank you so much, really

They are beautiful!
Galatea (I) with pearls and blood recalls its history,
Echo is beautiful with its wreath;
Chloris looks all happy and delighted, she has lots of charm,
Original cap for Eurydice
I love cap of Daphne,
Galatea (II) is simple, natural, just a few stars to increase her charm.

Excellent choice of colors! Your characters are very expressive!

I love it!
